Bio

My name is Gabriele Sirtori — or simply, G.
I work in digital communication and marketing in the sport and lifestyle industry. Since 2022 I’ve been at Colnago, the company that makes the most successful and exclusive racing bikes in the world.
I studied at Bocconi, where I developed a passion for advertising and data science. That’s where I learned to code in Python. Above all, that’s where I learned to make myself a double moka.
I buy non-fiction books compulsively and read about half of them. Umberto Eco had something to say on the matter, so I trust it’s all fine.
In a past life I wanted to be a reporter in the Middle East (I won a journalism award with this article) and studied Middle Eastern studies at Ca’ Foscari, Venice. Together with some genuinely brilliant people, I also published a book on the subject which is — unfortunately — still relevant today.
What makes me proudest, though, is the little garden on the balcony of my flat in Milan. Despite the heat and its terrible position, it struggles on and survives. Every now and then a flower blooms. That’s all I need to be happy.
